Meet Drew Howard
Trademark Attorney | Veteran | Strategic Legal Advisor
I am an experienced attorney with a background in both military and civilian legal practice. I bring a strategic, detail-oriented approach to intellectual property law—especially when it comes to helping businesses protect and grow their brands through trademark registration, analysis, and enforcement.
Before focusing on trademark law, I served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, where I advised senior leaders on complex legal matters. I’ve led legal teams, negotiated government agreements, and litigated felony-level offenses in military and federal courtrooms—all of which sharpened my ability to assess legal risk, manage high-stakes issues, and communicate clearly under pressure.
In private practice, I’ve worked on multi-state litigation teams and clerked for state court judges, giving me a deep understanding of both trial strategy and client advocacy. I hold a J.D. and an International MBA from the University of South Carolina, and I’m admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
Today, I combine that experience to offer tailored trademark services—helping entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners navigate the trademark process with confidence.
